Willow Springs Raceway
Willow Springs International Motorsports Park (commonly referred to as Willow Springs) is located in Willow Springs near Rosamond, California, about an hour north of Los Angeles. It is the oldest permanent road course in the United States. The main track is a 2.5-mile (4.0 km) long road course that is unchanged from its original 1953 configuration. The elevation changes and high average speeds make it a favorite of many road racing drivers.
We utilize several tracks at Willow Springs. The largest and most well known track is Willow Springs International Raceway (commonly referred to as Big Willow) and is known as The Fastest Track in the West. There are other racing facilities such as The Streets of Willow (1.8 mile road course), The Horsethief Mile (road course)
The humble beginnings
As simple as it sounds, the Red Pecker Racing School of High Performance Driving had many stops in the road before getting to where it is today. Everything that we have done to make this possible has been geared towards helping you. Years have been spent perfecting our methods of high performance driving in order to give you the best experience possible. In order to promote our safe and tactful methods, we push ourselves to provide the best of everything. This includes the finest facility, the most up-to-date cars and equipment, our extremely qualified staff, and top training methods. We pride ourselves as leaders in high performance driving with high standards set to help you reach your goals – whatever they may be.
Our classroom facilities implement some of the car-control basics. We have a full line of Chevy® and Toyota vehicles to select from, depending on what course you choose to take. The courses include driving suits and helmets that are made to fit many different body types.
We are a complete and dedicated maintenance facility that checks, replaces, and repairs any items that have been worn out. Our staff of long-term, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic instructors are individuals who are in it for the long haul. The instructors have a passion for high performance driving and are equipped to teach you everthing you need to know. A first-class crew of people working behind the scenes to ensure that you have the time of your life!
